Outside of University I was asked by someone I met through a previous film project if I would be interested in working on a film to do with wave energy. He described the project and what it would involve, and also mentioned it could be played in the National Museum of Scotland. I thought this would be a great opportunity to take part in and I jumped at the chance to be included. The client began with describing what they wanted for the animated sections, going into detail about timings and what they wanted included which I found very useful. He also included some sketches to give me a brief idea of what they were looking for.

I then went ahead and drew up a basic design for the two clips, and then went ahead and animated them to fit the brief. The final clips are below and will soon be followed by the complete film.

I really enjoyed working on this as it gave me a break from the things I was working on and also it gave me more experience working on projects with other people I wouldn't normally get to work with. It is also a new style of animation to me and I enjoyed learning it.
